Here it comes again .. I was in Berlin one month ago and I just had to do some Christmas shopping at LUSH. I spent a fortune there (haha as I always do) and I’m here to show you those damn good stuff. I know that all of those products have been out for a while but in case you haven’t try them out yet, maybe you will after this review.
First product which I used was this little Snow Angel. I used just a half of it because I thought it was enough (and it was actually). This little miracle smells just amazing I would compare the smell to the marzipan and almonds. The golden side melts and just slithers away making your bath all glittery. It leaves your skin super soft.
This is almost everyone’s Christmas favourite so you probably know it very well. But in case you don’t, this amazing shower gel smells like a candyfloss and bubblegum. So if you have not tried this yet and you like sweet scents, you need to! It even has some glitter in it as you can see above underneath the label.
This is not a Christmas product but I wanted to show you this anyway. I’ve bought this lotion for my mum since she has really dry skin and has struggled with the skin problems for years and surprisingly It helped and worked so well for her after just a few applications .. so if you know someone who has the similar skin problems I would highly recommend this lotion as a Christmas gift.
This bath bomb is called the Luxury LUSH pud. As you can see it looks just amazing, it reminds me of the Christmas lights. When you drop this into the water it fizzes and then mini different coloured bath bombs come out and fizz away, it also smells like vanilla and lavender. The only thing I hated about this ballistic is that it stained my skin as you can see on the picture above.
I love love LOVE this bath bomb. It is called the Golden Wonder for a reason. As you can see it is a golden shaped present, which is blue inside. Once you drop it in the bath the glitter disseminates and then lots of different colours pour out of the blue part of this bath bomb (I was really surprised since I wasn’t expecting that). Eventually the bath turns into a deep turquoise colour with a shimmer of gold glitter running through it. It leaves your skin very moisturised. I’m recommending this one as well, it is the best Christmas bath ballistic of them all in my opinion. By the way .. It leaves your bath covered in gold shimmers so if you don’t like that, avoid this one.
Father Christmas is an amazing bath bomb which they bring back every year. It smells a little like a Snow Fairy, though it is slightly more sugary and less artificial than the shower gel. It leaves your skin very soft of course and your bath very green. I actually loved it, it is one of my favourite ones this year for sure. I think Father Christmas would be a great present for someone.
This is the best hand soap I have ever had .. Oh my god I would eat that thing if I could. Its name is Baked Alaska. This is a refreshing soap, which has a very strong citrus scent (smells like lemon and grapefruit). It leaves a very subtle clean scent and a moisturised feeling on the skin. Another plus is that those colours are just stunning. Anytime I use this soap, I’m just very happy haha. You have to try this one.
My boyfriend came to the Czech republic two weeks ago and gifted me with the two another Christmas products which I wanted to try so much before but Lush was out of stock back then. I’m just lucky to have him :).
Northern lights is just wonderful really. Beautiful sight watching it fizz away (just look at all those colours included) but it takes a long time to dissolve, that is why I had to crack it with my hands. I’ve read many other reviews where people complained about the resulting colour – disgusting grey green/brown. But mine was purple .. I don’t know why but I enjoyed it, had no problem at all ..
It wouldn’t be a proper Lush haul without a bubble bar, would it? So the last product I tried was this adorable Peeping Santa. It smells like strawberries which is not very Christmasy but so what right .. It makes a lot of bubbles and leaves your skin pretty moisturised.
You’ve made it to the end. Hope you enjoyed it and will buy some of those for this festive season as well. Don’t forget that all of those bath bombs / oils / bubble bars etc. are just limited edition so hurry up before they sell out!
Two more weeks until Christmas ❄, Petra.
