Hi everybody! I have been incredibly busy with school stuff and life in general this past autumn and winter and haven’t been able to update this blog as much I’d like to (I know, the same old story). Time flies really fast when you’re not noticing so I thought it’d be nice to look back on the travelling I did and other interesting moments that happened in 2017 and maybe a few fave things.
One of the top moments of 2017 was definitely travelling to Seychelles. I visited Cerf Island in Seychelles in late June for eight days. I flew with, now bankrupt, AirBerlin, with a stopover in Abu Dhabi. I was accommodated in Cerf Island Resort & SPA. The hotel was really amazing. I had a beautiful room – hillside villa with spectacular ocean and jungle view, huge bathroom with private jacuzzi, living room and super comfy bed. The villa had a private terrace with deck chairs, a couch and a dining table. I have tons of photos of Seychelles and the hotel I lived in, so maybe I’ll publish a special post dedicated only to Seychelles :).
BEE ON A CHERRY BLOSSOM
I know .. why the hell bee on a cherry tree BUT I was so happy when I managed to take a picture like this. I didn’t find out immediately but during the editing I noticed there is a bee chilling on a blossom. Sooo sweet, isn’t it?
NUTRIA STEPPED ON MY TOE
Haha yea .. He (she?) stepped on my toe and looked into my eyes like nothing was happening.
SUMMER IN BERLIN, DE AND BRNO, CZ
I just loved this summer .. well not in every way because school was stressing me out but still .. I enjoyed it in my hometown and in Berlin together with my boyfriend Marc. We did swim in a pool a lot, visited some interesting places, travelled a bit and enjoyed each other’s presence, since we don’t get to see each other that often during the year.
FAVOURITE BEAUTY PRODUCT
I fell in love with Marzia’s Winky Lux palette. The colours are amazing, well pigmented and nicely warm.
BREAKFAST AT BARCOMI’S DELI – SENSE8 LOCATION
I love this show – Sense8 – so much. It’s filled with such joy, energy, and wackiness, and it’s one hell of a rollercoaster, if you allow yourself to be taken along for the ride. My favourite characters are Wolfgang and Kala .. I loved their scene at Barcomi’s Deli in Berlin, so I had to take my boyfriend and we went for a delicious breakfast.
For the first time in my life I’ve tried this typical traditional Berlin “dish”. Marc convinced me for the first time after 3 years of dating. It looks disgusting on a photo yet It wasn’t that bad I have to admit 😛 (very spicy tho).
LA HERRADURA – SPAIN
In early September Marc and I flew to Malaga in Spain and from there we took a bus to beautiful La Herradura. It is still a relatively unknown stretch along Spain’s southern coastline, which belongs to the Granada province in Andalusia. It’s a typical Andalusian village of whitewashed houses (as you can see on a picture above), sitting on a gentle slope leading down to the beach. The weather was really hot there so it was very hard for me to survive the day but I enjoyed it from the bottom of my heart. Really nice place, highly recommended :).
MY FIRST LV HANDBAG
And of course it’s a Speedy 30 Bandouliere in monogram canvas. Haha, I’ve always wanted to own this handbag some day after I saw Audrey Hepburn wore this piece.
THE DAY MY SISTER CAME TO BERLIN
After 3 long years my sister finally arrived to Berlin for a quick 2 days trip. During her visit we visited the Brandenburger Tor of course and this is our first photo with Marc taken in front of this famous gate (not counting lame selfies).
NEW YEAR’S EVE IN BERLIN
With plenty of cool bars and a thriving nightlife, Berlin is a great city in which to spend New Year’s Eve. But I personally like to celebrate New Year’s Eve with people I love in a cozy place so this year we celebrated it together with Marc and his family in a quiet part of Berlin.
I’ll end this post with a picture of a stunning looking golden wine and last Lush bath bomb of the year. I hope you enjoyed reading this and I want to thank each one of you for reading and engaging in my blog posts through the comments even though I’m not very active. I hope 2018 brings a lot of happiness, success and good health to all of you!
